The villa lies on a gently sloping hillside, which affords magnificent open views towards the village and across to the Montgo of Javea and the distant mountains of the Sierra de Bernia.

Benitachell today has a wealth of facilities, supermarkets, banks , doctor, pharmacy and restaurants, ( There are three restaurants  one kilometre from the villa.)

The centre of Benitachell with its winding narrow streets has retained the characteristics of an old Valencian village . It is dominated by a beautiful hilltop church which is illuminated at night .  Much of the land bordering the village is given over to agriculture and the cultivation of the Moscatel grapes.

Benitachell also has its own pure natural springs. You can often see the local residents collecting their spring water in the village(next to the school , the doctors' surgery and by the Post Office) 

Many new  villa developments have grown up around the village, some of which are holiday homes , but many are home to permanent residents from all over Europe, generally escaping the cold winters and enjoying the benefits of the sunny Mediterranean climate and a peaceful relaxing lifestyle.

The closest beach to your villa Casa Bonita is a short drive over the hill top behind the villa, (about 5 minutes) to the secluded beach of Cala Moraig , where there facilities and a small beach bar.
